Carports for Tandarook House - Sunday 28 June 2009

For a number of years the residents of Tandarook House - a community run semi-independent living complex - had been asking for additional carports to be provided for their use.   During president Kevin Johnston's year the funds were put aside to provide 2 double carports, and during President David Steel's year the project was carried out.  

These pictures were taken at the initial working bee to erect the 2 double carports. 

Helpers were - Bob Anderson, Michael Coad, Stan Coad, Jeff Maynard, Graham Marchant, Neil Podger, Don Rawlings, John van Leerdam

These pictures show the finishing touches - mainly the roofs! - being put to the carports.

Helpers this time were - Jeff Maynard, Frank Martin and Mark Towner.
