Rotary Club of Cobden Recent Highlights

INDUCTION OF NEW PRESIDENT FOR 2010-11 At the Club's Changeover Dinner on 25 June 2010, Raelene Munro was inducted as the President of the Cobden Rotary Club for the next 12 months to June 2011.

Relay for Life - Our team, the Cobden Rotaters, took part in the Corangamite Relay for Life on 20 and 21 March 2010.   We had a team of 62 registered participants and everyone was absolutely blown away by the whole event.   More info and a picture gallery can be seen by clicking here.	Leukaemia Fundraising Fun Day - Easter Sunday 2010 - We had brilliant weather for a very successful fundraising day for the Leukaemia Foundation. Cobden service clubs - CWA, Quota and Rotary, very strongly supported by the South Western Model Engineers - held a fund raiser for the Foundation.   Car boot sale, train rides, merry-go-round and jumping castle, mini-golf, canteen facilities and milk shakes and a barbecue all played their part in raising around $3000.
